Spirit Christmas Stores Expand for 2025
Halloween has wrapped, and a new wave of holiday pop-up retailers is stepping in to take its place.
Spirit Christmas is leading that shift, and the timing is perfect.
The company is rolling out Spirit Christmas stores for 2025 across the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, taking over many of the spaces Spirit Halloween filled just a few weeks ago.
Others will reopen inside large bankrupt retail spaces in 2025, giving empty storefronts a second life for the holidays.
Spencer Gifts tested the idea last year with a small group of stores. This time, the rollout is much bigger, with 30 locations planned and several already open.
Where New Spirit Christmas Stores Are Opening
Five stores are open now, and the rest will open within days as teams finish converting each location. They’ll remain open through the end of December.

Spirit Halloween Replacement Stores Arrive for the Season
With every Spirit Halloween now closed, these new shops will act as Spirit Halloween replacement stores for the final stretch of the year.
They’ll have ornaments, décor, inflatables, and stocking stuffers specifically for holiday shoppers.
The flagship location in Mays Landing, NJ, opened in mid-October and set the tone for the rest of the rollout.
Santa Photo Experiences Begin Soon
Some stores are already scheduling Santa photo sessions, but most will begin on November 21st. The hours will be:
Fridays: 3 pm to 7 pm
Saturdays: 11 am to 7 pm
Sundays: 12 pm to 6 pm
Hours might vary slightly by location, so be sure to check the store locator to confirm.
A Cheerful Start to the Season
