"It's off to the side. A personal relationship," Belichick said, per Brett McMurphy. "She doesn't have anything to do with UNC football. I’m excited to be back in coaches meetings."
It was the first public comment from the 73-year-old former Patriots coach addressing the firestorm that’s followed him since a now-infamous CBS interview aired earlier this spring, one where Hudson appeared alongside him and controversially shut down a question about their relationship’s origins.
